My husband and I went to Mass MoCa for the first time this week and we were blown away - we can't wait to come back again (especially in warmer weather). The museum itself was great (definitely get a map and ask for directions when you need them! ), take your time, and look to see if they have any exhibits you should sign up for in advance. We went to the "Sol Lewitt: A Wall Drawing Retrospective" - 3 floors of it - and we were glued to the walls so-to-speak following all the shapes and colors and details. We got exhibit ($0) timed tickets to see the "James Turrell: Into the Light" exhibit and WOWWOWOWOWOWOW that was awesome. It was such a unique experience, the (2) main ones they had, on one hand being drenched in color and light that envelopes you -- and then quite the opposite, the lack of light. So cool. We are going to stay tuned for anything coming up in the next year and we'll be back! …
