Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light! Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna! Pros: the place was clean Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers! 8. 4 Excellent 8. 4 Based on 5, 469 reviews The Best Western Plus Oxford Linton Lodge Hotel in Oxford is just minutes away from the thriving city center. However, it's set in a quiet location - so this hotel offers the best of both worlds for guests who want the perfect place to stay in Oxford.

The service and facilities were at most a one star hotel this time. I stayed in this hotel for about 5 times in the last two years because we were visiting our daughter who was studying at Worcestor college(one block away). They've been always about a three stars hotel standard. But this time was the worst. We will not use this hotel any more. It's totally not worth the price & the poor facility. Based on 2, 560 reviews "Situated in the suburbs, this hotel is 0. 2 mi (0. 3 km) from Kassam Stadium and within 3 miles (5 km) of University of Oxford and O2 Academy (Oxford). Greyfriars Oxford and Iffley Road Track are also within 3 miles (5 km). " Pros: Clean rooms as would be expected from a Hampton Rooms were too small for roomrate expected Cons: Some staff members attitudes were a bit condescending. I understand this isn't a Hilton Hotel and a brand offshoot but Hilton have a very strict points system which the management company have to stick to. With staff training being a major factor, staff must be aware at all times how they react to certain situations, this will determaine what the consumer views the hotel as.

Of course, its also the scene of many a Morse episode, one infamous scene in particlue, so worht a visit if you're a fan.
Pros: excellent location in central Oxford, minutes away from historic colleges, the central market, and the bus station. Cons: Rooms were small, extremely overheated and poorly ventilated. Old carpeting triggered allergies. Breakfast not included in the room price and very expensive ($30 for a continental buffet). Pros: Clean bedsheets and towels Cons: Very small rooms for the price; You can't reach the reception directly; you basically have to go through hoops and being on hold before someone picks up; the staff are not quick in responding to issues or concerns. Wifi was really quite poor--it bounced off every five minutes. Pros: It is in an excellent location for visiting my daughter who is studying at Worcestor college. Cons: We were in a room with heavy scaffolding blocking the entire two windows. Men were talking, yelling & working/pounding in front of the two windows every morning. They totally ignored us who needed sleeping in the room. There were no privacy nor courtesy. We were not informed or asked if it's Ok for the reception to assign such a downgraded room (the windows were blocked by scaffolding entirely)to us at check in either.
