Our room was bright and airy over looking a beautiful sea view. We could stroll safely on and along the beach at sunset before having a wonderful dinner at the Restaurant Emprata. The food was good and the service personal and outstanding. Special mention for the Guest Relation Manager who welcomed us when we checked in. She would always have a friendly chat with us on our needs whenever she sees us. Hotel Quinta das Lagrimas - Small Luxury Hotels Coimbra This recently renovated 5-star hotel is situated in a historic medieval palace. It features botanical gardens and a state-of-the-art spa with views across Coimbra. Bamboo Garden Spa provides a range of luxury treatments and beauty therapies, and there is a library filled with thousands of ancient books. Quinta das Lágrima has a golf driving range and a 9-hole course. Everithing. The gardens, the room, the bar, the breakfast was excellent.
